Early this week a large group of nearly 3,000 illegal aliens gathered in Guatemala to break through our southern border, but now that caravan has surged to over 4,000 because anti-American NGOs began handing out cash to anyone who would join the invading force.
Late last week, a huge group of 3,000 illegal immigrants began the trek through Guatemala northward on their way to crash our border and enter the U.S. illegally.
By Tuesday, the group had already crossed from Guatemala into Honduras intending to break through into Mexico and then the U.S.A.
Mexican officials made a show that they would stop the invading army from crossing into Mexico.
But by Wednesday, the army of lawbreakers had grown to over 4,000 illegal aliens.
Mexican officials said that if the group reached its southern border they would have to follow immigration rules to enter to enter Mexico. However, the government did not specify what those rules would be and did not make any warnings otherwise.
In a vague statement, Mexico’s immigration department said, “The law does not provide for any permission to enter the country without meeting the requirements, and then go on to a third country.”
It remains to be seen what Mexican authorities will actually do, though, once the caravan gets to their border.
Still, it has been reported that Mexico sent a larger force to its border. According to the L. A. Times:
Mexico sent federal forces to its southern border Wednesday after President Trump called on several Latin American nations to stop a large caravan of Honduran immigrants heading toward the United States.
Mexico’s federal police released images of two planes arriving in Tapachula, a Mexican city on the border with Guatemala that is a popular crossing point for migrants heading north. News reports showed hundreds of agents disembarking from the planes, some carrying riot gear.
In a series of sternly worded statements, the government has made it clear in recent days that it will not allow any of the estimated 2,000 immigrants traveling with the caravan to cross into Mexican territory without proper documentation.
But, according to some sources the migrants are being handed free money by shadowy anti-American organizations to continue the journey to crash the U.S. border.
According to Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, migrants are being handed the cash by armed men in Honduras. In a video Gaetz posted to Twitter, a man in a white t-shirt with a pistol on his belt is seen handing money put to migrants.
