A “Catholic” Church in a Boston suburb sparked controversy this week by using its Christmas nativity display to push activism for illegal aliens.
The nativity display at St. Susanna’s Parish in Dedham, Massachusetts, features the church’s baby Jesus locked up in a cage to protest Donald Trump’s immigration policy.
CBS 4 reported that the leaders of the church are pretending this isn’t all about politics.
“We try to take a picture of the world as it is and put it together with a Christmas message,” activist Pastor Fr. Stephen Josoma told the media.
Another anti-Trumper at the church insisted that they aren’t trying to “scandalize” anyone.
“We’re not trying to scandalize anyone,” said parishioner Pat Ferrone. “We’re trying to reflect back a reality that has to be looked at.”
Clearly, however, this is a lie. This is a very public attack on Donald Trump and this act was meant to be a major public statement.
These left-wingers are more interested in political messages than in their religion.
Not everyone thinks this overt political display is such a great idea.
One Massachusetts resident slammed the activist church saying, “This is where you come to pray not to be preached at what you should think about politics.”
