U.S. Attorney General William Barr presented the final report by special counsel Robert Mueller that now formally proves that Democrats and the media have been lying for two years with wild claims that Donald Trump “colluded with Russia” to alter the 2016 elections.
Not only has the Mueller report confirmed that there was no collusion, but it also proved that no one in Trump’s campaign worked with or even tried to work with the Russians.
The A.G. also noted that Donald Trump has not yet seen the report and that Trump did not exercise any “executive privilege” to see the report and/or demand redactions. In other words, Trump made total hands off on the process and let Mueller and the Department of Justice perform their duties completely unimpeded.
A.G. Barr was joined by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein — a known anti-Trump agent in the DOJ — to reveal the report to the public.
Following the press conference, President Trump tweeted out a mock poster that states, “No collusion. No obstruction. For the haters and the radical left Democrats – game over.”

Here are a few of Barr’s selected comments during his presser this morning, per Fox News:
Barr thanked Robert Mueller for his service and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for delaying his retirement to help finish this report.
“As you know one of the primary purposes of the investigation was to see if Trump’s campaign conspired with the Russian government to interfere in the election,” Barr said.
“As you can see, the report said the investigation said Trump’s campaign didn’t coordinate with the Russian government,” Barr said.
Barr said thanks to the investigation that the Russian government did not have the help of Trump or his campaign to interfere.
“That is something Americans should be grateful for,” Barr said.
Barr said the Special Counsel “found no American or anyone with the Trump campaign” coordinated with the Russian government.
“No evidence any American coordinated with the IRA’s interference,” Barr said
Barr said Russians trying to interfere in 2016 campaign did not have the cooperation of President Trump or his campaign. Says there was an effort “to sow social discord” and a “disinformation campaign” by Russia.
“The report details efforts by Russian military officials with the GRU to hack into computers and steal documents and emails associated with the Democratic party and Hillary Clinton’s campaign,” Barr said.
Barr makes clear that there was no evidence that anyone from the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia, citing the special counsel’s report.
“The GRU transferred some materials to WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks made a document dump,” Barr said.
Barr: The Special Counsel investigated a number of “links” or “contacts” between Trump Campaign officials and individuals connected with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential campaign. After reviewing those contacts, the Special Counsel did not find any conspiracy.
“Bottom line: After two years, thousands of warrants, the Special Counsel confirmed the Russian government illegally interfered in the election but did not find anyone in the Trump campaign interfered in that,” Barr said.
“The deputy attorney general and I concluded the evidence developed that Trump did not commit an obstruction of justice offense,” Barr said.
“Instead we accepted the special counsel’s legal framework to reach our conclusions,” Barr said.
“It’s important to bear in mind Trump faced an unprecedented situation. Federal investigators were scrutinizing him,” Barr said of Trump.
“There is substantial evidence to show Trump was frustrated and angered that the investigation was undermining his presidency,” Barr said.
He said the White House fully cooperated with the investigation.
Barr said prosecutors are handling ongoing cases.
“No redactions were made from anyone outside this group,” Barr clarified.
He said, “No one outside of this department has seen the full version of this report.”
“Following my letter, the White House Counsel was invited to look at the redacted version of the report,” Barr said.
“Accordingly, the public report contains redactions only for the four categories I previously outlined and not based on executive privilege,” he said.
Barr then took questions, none of which were worthy of chronicling here.
The upshot is that there was no collusion, no one outside or inside the Trump campaign worked with the Russians, and Trump did not try to interfere either in Mueller’s investigation, nor in the Department of Justice effort to present the final report to the public.
In other words, the Democrats have been lying for two years.
