Last week I reported that the White House announced that they were taking cost-cutting measures in response to the sequestration in that all tours would be canceled starting Saturday, March 9. The White House even sent emails to members of Congress telling them that if any of their constituents wanted White House tours that it was up to the members of Congress to provide them or turn them away. There was no doubt in the statements issued by the White House that the decision was theirs and theirs alone.
In typical Obama blame shifting fashion, the White House is now pointing the finger to the US Secret Service for ending the tours instead of themselves. In an interview with ABC news, President Obama said:
“You know, I have to say this was not — the decision that went up to the White House. What the Secret Service explained to us was that they are in a have to furlough some folks.”
“Well, what I’m asking them is are there ways, for example, for us to accommodate school groups — you know, who may have traveled here with some bake sales. Can we make sure that — kids, potentially, can — can still come to her?”
Through the first four years of Obama’s administration all we heard him say is that the economy is Bush’s fault. Even after Obama’s own policies cause the first downgrade of the US credit rating in history, he continued to blame Bush for all the economic woes. Obama has a track record of blaming others for anything that’s his fault. I have yet to hear him accept responsibility for anything negative.
Obama continued to blame the Republicans for the troubled job market when in fact they had proposed over 12 different jobs bills that the Democrats refused to even look at. When it came to the fiscal cliff debacles again Obama blame Republicans when he and Senator Harry Reid were the ones that refused to compromise with any of the proposals put forth by the GOP.
Just a few weeks ago the nation was facing the dreaded world ending sequestration that Obama had put in place. The Republicans offered proposals to cut spending in ways that would not be nearly as painful as those required by the sequestration but once again Obama and Reid refused to entertain any of the Republican proposals. Although Obama was the one that refused to compromise he was quick to point the finger and shift the blame to Republicans.
He is real quick to take responsibility for the achievements of others such as the killing of Osama bin Laden. I’m sure we’ve all known people like this who were quick to take credit for what others do and blame others for what they do. If you are like me you really can’t stand this type of irresponsible person who has no place being in a position of authority anywhere, especially over a nation of people.
So once again we see another example of spineless blame shifting politics on the part of the pathetic man who warrants no respect for his actions and who disgraces the office of President of the United States.
