Bloomingdale department store pulls a ‘Fake News’ t-shirt from their store shelves and apologizes after a NY reporter complains about it.
PIX11 Reporter Allison Kaden Tweeted on Sunday, referring to the T-shirt, “Hey Bloomingdale’s, this isn’t funny or fashionable. It further delegitimizes hard-working journalists who bring REAL news to their communities.”
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any offense we may have caused. We take this feedback very seriously and are working quickly to remove this t-shirt. Again, thank you for taking the time to alert us.

Bloomingdale’s is reportedly removing a T-shirt with the words “Fake News” displayed on it after a reporter from New York posted a photo on Twitter.
Reporter Allison Kaden of Television station WPIX posted the image on Twitter Sunday tagging Bloomingdale’s and questioning the department store’s decision to sell the shirt with the phrase popularized by President Trump.
The post had been retweeted more than 1,000 times with nearly 3,000 favorites by Monday afternoon.
Bloomingdale’s responded to Kaden’s post Monday morning, apologizing and saying it would be “working quickly” to remove the shirt. More
Why is Bloomingdale’s apologizing? The correct answer to the whiny SJW reporter should have been… Don’t like it? Don’t buy it!
Nowadays people get offended by any little thing, you don’t have to listen to their demands. And this is shirt is an example of freedom of speech. I would totally buy it.
Twitter users weigh in:
Love the shirt! It’s not about personal feelings. Leave the shirt don’t cave in! There is a lot of Fake News out there shirt or no shirt!

LEAVE the shirt up.. Stop giving in to “outrage” because there will always be outrage by some group. Some people hate it some people love it. Let the ones that love it have an opportunity to buy it and the ones that hate it do not have to buy it. Its really not hard to understand
