The woman suspected of ditching a bag of puppies in a dumpster has been arrested, and police now know those weren’t the only dog lives she put in danger.
Deborah Sue Culwell was arrested Monday night and is now charged with seven felony counts of animal cruelty according to ABC.
She was also charged with seven misdemeanor counts of abandoning an animal, according to jail records.
When authorities went to the run-down home of Deborah Sue Culwell to take her into custody, they found another 38 dogs, ABC 7 reports.
All the dogs had to be impounded since Culwell is still the owner of the animals, the outlet noted, and “are now being cared for at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms.”
It’s unclear if the mother of the seven puppies thrown into the dumpster was recovered at Culwell’s home. “It would be a guessing game,” said Animal Services Officer Jose Cisneros.
“The dogs are mainly small terrier mixes that range in age from adult to 3 months old. They appear to be in general good health, despite the conditions they were living in,” ABC 7 notes. More

It’s a strange world we live in.. Everyone is up in arms over leaving puppies to die, as they very well should be, but no uproar over killing babies or leaving unwanted newborns to die.
Is this really surprising when many people in this country want to do the same thing to babies? The only difference is you get arrested when it’s a puppy but when it’s a baby you are celebrated because it’s your “choice” as a woman.
Update: The monster who dumped a bag of puppies in the desert has been arrested and will be charged with felony animal cruelty. I say lock her up & throw away the key!

The irony is that the outrage that the left feels over this is not transferred to the countless babies that get their lives snuffed out every day.
