Climate change alarmists have finally hit the lowest possible point possible by insisting that having a child is the worst thing any human can do because of global warming.
That’s right, these fools actually want to initiate global genocide to “save the earth.”
Recently climate change absurdist Danny Westneat, a columnist for the Seattle Times, exclaimed that, “In terms of carbon emissions that lead to global warming, there’s probably nothing worse we can do on an individual basis than take an intercontinental flight.”
It’s bad enough that this nut wants us to put an end to modernity, but University of Washington Professor Emeritus Stephen Warren made global warming religionists look even more mentally unbalanced by essentially rejecting the status Westneat’s attack on the airline industry.
“Actually, there is something worse. Having a child,” Warren wrote.
Warren claimed that the average child adds the carbon equivalent of 2,700 round-trip flights from Seattle to Europe to the world’s carbon footprint.
This nutcase continued: “By choosing to reproduce, you’re responsible for some fraction of the carbon-dioxide emissions of your children and grandchildren, and all their descendants. This is your ‘carbon legacy.'”
Warren added, “if you compare actions a person could take that would reduce total CO2 emissions, it’s pretty clear that ‘having one less child’ wins in the competition.”
UW College Republicans President Armen Tooloee slammed the lunatic prof who taught this garbage at his college.
“That’s a ridiculous statement by Professor Warren,” Tooloee said. “U.S. birth rates are already at historic lows; if they continue at this rate our economy and political system will suffer. If Prof. Warren really cared about ‘carbon legacies,’ he’d focus on skyrocketing birth rates in the third world and the ensuing mass migration from low carbon footprint countries to the developed world.”
It’s worse than that, of course. But it does prove that liberals are haters of all humanity. So, why does anyone ever listen to a liberal?
