A newly elected Denver City Council woman says she intends to force socialism on the city “by any means necessary.”
Runoff election winner Candi CdeBaca is boasting about bringing the Bernie Sanders/Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez scheme of leftism to the Mile-High City.
“I consider myself a Democratic socialist,” CdeBaca told KDVR after winning her seat.
The election upset was a shock to the city. The candidate CdeBaca beat was an establishment darling and the incumbent.
The socialist told KDR that socialism is on the rise in America.
“Communism is when the government owns everything; socialism is when people have control of the distribution of ownership. People have more power,” she said.
But she also did not back down from her fascistic statement made during the campaign that she would force socialism on Denver “by any means necessary.”
“I don’t believe our current economic system actually works,” CdeBaca said. “Capitalism by design is extractive and in order to generate profit in a capitalist system something has to be exploited — that’s land, labor, or resources. And I think that we’re in late-phase capitalism, and we know it doesn’t work, and we’ve gotta move into something new, and I believe in community ownership of land, labor, resources, and distribution of those resources.”
She concluded that statement ominously saying, “And so whatever that morphs into I think is what will serve community the best, and I’m excited to usher it in by any means necessary.”
Still, even the state’s left-wing former Governor pushed back against the idea of socialism in his state.

But CdeBaca’s fascistic warning is exactly what comes with socialism. When socialists find out that their policies are failing, instead of realizing they are wrong, they begin bringing the iron boot heel down on our necks to force their way on us all.
