After posting that article, I was talking to someone who asked why Congress hasn’t done anything to stop Obama or hold him accountable. I tried to explain that they are spineless and none of them have the probity to do what’s right.
Then it dawned on me, I realized that Congress’s lack of action to stop Obama or hold him accountable was in itself an act of treason. I’ve quoted Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution on many occasions and will do so here again:
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”
Reading through this section of the Constitution carefully, I believe one could make a case against the members of Congress – both House and Senate – for charges of treason. By their inaction to stop Barack Obama or bring impeachment and/or treason charges against him, they in fact are aiding and abetting an enemy of the United States.
This is based upon the presumption that Obama is an enemy of the United States. His support of the terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood, alone proves that Obama is guilty of treason. During their ruling of Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood led an organized genocide against the countries Christian population. Obama supplied them with billions of dollars along with weapons and fighter jets that helped the Muslim Brotherhood’s murderous tyranny.
The release of a Taliban terrorist leader who was involved in the planning of 9/11 is also grounds to bring charges of treason against Obama. One of the Taliban leaders that Obama swapped for Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl was the Taliban’s former Deputy Defense Minister and Army Chief of Staff before he was imprisoned at Gitmo. Obama’s swap has allowed this man to continue to his terrorist jihad against the US.
Former US Assistant Attorney and Prosecutor Andrew McCarthy summed up this trade saying:
“It seems to be quite beside the point when we have a commander in chief who is replenishing the enemy in wartime when the enemy is still on the battlefield conducting offensive, jihadist operations against our guys. That’s about as shocking a dereliction of duty as I can imagine.”
We could continue with a long list of crimes against the Constitution, federal law, international law and the people of the United States, but the point has been made that Obama is an enemy of the US.
The members of the US House of Representatives had the legal and moral obligation to bring charges against Barack Obama for his high crimes and treason. By failing to do their duty, they in fact have aided and abetted an enemy of the United States by the name of Barack Obama and therefore are guilty of treason by their failure to protect the US.
I know that Speaker of the House John Boehner has announced plans to file a lawsuit against Barack Obama concerning his illegal executive orders, but why hasn’t he had the guts to take any action sooner? What about Obama’s open defiance of the US Constitution and continual bypassing of Congress? Why hasn’t Boehner done anything about these?
The members of the US Senate had the legal and moral obligation to hold hearings, impeachment or criminal charges of treason against Barack Obama. By failing to do their duty, they in fact have aided and abetted an enemy of the United States by the name of Barack Obama and therefore are guilty of treason by their failure to protect the US.
One could also make a case against a number of federal judges and the US Supreme Court who failed to rule on the letter of the law and the US Constitution which could have stopped Obama from committing any more crimes.
Let’s not forget US Attorney General Eric Holder who is guilty of his own list of high crimes against the US and the Constitution. His support of Obama’s illegal actions makes him an accomplice to Obama’s treasonous crimes.
Is there anyone left in government that is not guilty of complacency or failure to carry out their obligation to protect the US Constitution and the American people? At this point, I don’t think so. Perhaps it’s time for another revolution and re-establishing the type of small federal government that our Founding Fathers’ intended us to have?
