Cory Booker’s ‘Girlfriend,’ Rosario Dawson, Accused of Beating Up Transgender Employee

Rosario Dawson, Hollywood star and purported girlfriend of Democrat presidential candidate Cory Booker, is being sued by a transgender ex-employee who claims to have been physically assaulted by Dawson and her mother.

Earlier this year, Dawson became the surprise “girlfriend” of the New Jersey Senator who has been widely rumored to be a gay man. Their relationship has been very strange, to say the least. While the pair claim they are head over heels, they are rarely seen together, and it doesn’t seem that their relationship is very close.

Regardless, Dawson has paraded herself as the perfectly woke liberal Hollywooder — like most of them do. But a new lawsuit casts a big shadow over Dawson’s claim of woke-a-tivity, or wokeness, or whatever they want to call it this week.

The lawsuit was filed by a woman named Deidre Finley who now goes by the name of “Dedrek” and claims to be transitioning to a man, according to TMZ.

In the lawsuit “Dedrek” claims that the Dawson family hired her to move from New York to California to work for the family. But when she got to L.A., Deidre came out and refashioned herself as “Dedrek.”

Apparently, the Dawson family was not amused.

In the lawsuit, Dedrek says that the Dawsons repeatedly called her a woman instead of a man.

Dedrek also says that the family cut her hours as an employee and then turned her out of the house she was living in rent-free on the Dawson property.

Then in April of 2018, Dedrek says that the Dawsons physically attacked her. Dedrek says that the actress’s mother pounded on the purported victim’s door screaming, threatened to kill a cat, and then physically dragged Dedrek out of the house through a ripped screen.

Then the beat down came:

He says Rosario then yelled, “Mom, stop being petty.” He says he thought she was coming to his defense, but instead he claims Rosario helped pin him so her mother could continue the beatdown.

Dedrek claims one of the women — Rosario or Isabel — took his phone away from him during the beating … because they knew he had a video of Isabel threatening Dedrek earlier in the year, and to stop him from calling 911.

In the suit, he says he was eventually able to scramble inside Rosario’s home where he grabbed a phone and dialed 911. Police responded and Dedrek says he was taken to a hospital for treatment — and the very next day he got a restraining order against Isabel.

Not very woke, is it?
