Could Your Child be the Next Victim of a Social Media Predator?

How much time do your children spend on social media whether from their mobile phones or computers? Do you know who they are talking to on social media and what they are saying?

When asked, most parents say they trust their children and that they would never do anything to put themselves in danger, yet too many parents find out the hard way that they were wrong.

We hear reports all the time of young girls and boys who go missing only to find out that they’ve been chatting with someone who wasn’t who they claimed to be. In a few fortunate instances, the daughter or son is located and returned home, but in the majority of cases they are never heard from again and their parents don’t know if they are alive or dead.

Coby Persin is best known for being an online prankster. After hearing about a Los Angeles man who witnessed his 12 year old daughter being abducted by a strange man she met on social media, Persin, 21 years of age, decided to see just how easy it is for a pedophile predator to find their victims using social media.

With the permission of parents, Persin created a false Facebook page posing as a 15 year old boy. He made friends with three different young girls, ages 12, 13 and 14 and after just a few days of chatting with them, he arranged to meet them, again with the parents’ permission but all of whom did not believe that their daughter would actually go through with it.

Watch and see what happened.

In every one of the instances in the video above, those girls could easily have fallen victim to any pervert out there who could have raped and killed them or even sold them as young sex slaves. If that last option shocks you, then you need to know that sex slavery is alive and well in the US and abroad and there are reports of young American girls being sold to overseas pedophiles. Sometimes they are forced to become child brides and forcibly bred to product offspring.

Parents – are you still so sure that your children would not do what these three young girls did? How can you be so certain it won’t happen to them?

I have a 13 year old granddaughter and plan on having her watch this video and pray that it never happens to her. Fortunately she is not allowed to have her own mobile phone and her internet access at home is limited to mostly school work. But I also know that she is young and gullible and I hope that she never gets herself into one of these situations and disappears from our lives.

I can’t urge you enough to sit down with your daughters and sons and watch this video together. Talk to them about the dangers of social media and talking to people they really don’t know. Review this video every month or so to help remind them of the dangers and please, please, please make sure you let them know just how much you love and cherish them.

Make your sons know that this also happens to boys as homosexual pedophiles are on the rise in America, thanks to our liberal society that has turned its back on God and His teachings.

Lastly, share this with your family and friends. You never know who will be next to fall victim to one of these online predators and if reading this and watching the video saves one child from this fate, then it will be well worth your time and effort.
