Once again, proving that liberals destroy everything they touch (in this case the world of art), a so-called “art” exhibit in Washington D.C. allows gallery visitors to throw garbage at a lookalike of President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, while she vacuums the floor.
This idiotic, demeaning, sexist, and stupid “art” display is called “Ivanka Vacuuming.”
Ho, ho, ho.
The exhibit is being held at CulturalDC’s former Flashpoint Gallery in Washington which is calling it “performance art.”
According to The Federalist:
[It] is a piece of “performance art” where an Ivanka Trump lookalike wearing a pink dress with bows and stiletto shoes vacuums crumbs off a plush, pink carpet. To make the spectacle interactive, onlookers are encouraged to take crumbs from a pedestal and throw them at her to vacuum up.
The Federalist adds:
“Inspired by a figure whose public persona incorporates an almost comically wide range of feminine identities – daughter, wife, mother, sister, model, working woman, blonde – Ivanka Vacuuming is simultaneously a visual celebration of a contemporary feminine icon; a portrait of our own relationship to that figure; and a questioning of our complicity in her role-playing,” a press release on the project reads. “The public is invited to throw crumbs onto the carpet, watching as Ivanka elegantly vacuums up the mess, her smile never wavering. This process repeats itself for the entire duration of the performance.”
I thought liberals hated all the stereotypes brought to bear from this garbage “art” display?
Women are just sex objects?
Women are only worth something if they’re doing housework?
Demeaning the actual accomplishments of women?
All the worst stereotypes that demean women are present in this “art.”
Ah, but like all hate-filled, hypocritical leftists, this “art” attacks someone on the political right. So, in that case all the stereotypes they would otherwise call evil are perfectly fine to deploy when on the attack.
Liberals are evil people.
