Democrat Socialist Ocasio-Cortez Says There’s ‘No Question’ President Trump Is Racist

There is “no question” that President Trump is a racist, New York Rep. Ocasio-Cortez said in a 60 Minutes interview that aired Sunday night.

Ocasio-Cortez told Anderson Cooper that Trump “certainly didn’t invent racism. But he’s certainly given a voice to it and expanded it and created a platform for those things.”

“Do you believe President Trump is a racist?” Cooper asked her. “Yeah, yeah, no question,” Ocasio-Cortez replied.

Newly sworn-in House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said on Sunday that there’s ‘no question’ whether or not Donald Trump is a racist.

Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrat who stunned the political world by winning her party primary last year against an establishment politician, was asked by Anderson Cooper of CBS’ 60 Minutes whether she believed the president ‘is a racist?’

‘Yeah. Yeah. No question,’ Ocasio-Cortez replied.

‘When you look at the words that he uses, which are historic dog whistles of white supremacy,’ Ocasio-Cortez said.

‘When you look at how he reacted to the Charlottesville incident, where neo-Nazis murdered a woman, versus how he manufactures crises like immigrants seeking legal refuge on our borders, it’s night and day.’

Ocasio-Cortez, who represents New York’s 14th District (parts of Queens and the Bronx), said Trump was a ‘symptom of a problem.’

‘The President certainly didn’t invent racism,’ Ocasio-Cortez said, ‘but he’s certainly given a voice to it and expanded it and created a platform for those things.’

The White House responded to Ocasio-Cortez’s comments, saying: ‘Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez’s sheer ignorance on the matter can’t cover the fact that President Trump supported and passed historic criminal justice reform.’

Trump ‘has repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all forms,’ according to the White House. More

Once again the MSM is trying to make her into something she is not… What has this woman done that warrants all the attention she’s getting? She needs to be quiet and learn how to listen. Or is the best thing to do is just let her talk because she will her destroy herself?

Aren’t people who see racism in every innocuous comment themselves racist?
