The Democrats can’t seem to find “even one dollar” to secure our border, but they have no problem at all giving $18,000 to a gay pride film festival in Mumbai, India.
As Democrat leaders continue to refuse to add money to the budget for President Trump’s border wall program, the Department of State is preparing to cut a big check to a gay film festival in India to “promote gender inclusiveness.”
According to the Free Beacon:
The department is seeking a nonprofit group to facilitate the “LGBT Pride Month Film Festival” in June 2019, according to a grant announcement released on the final day before the partial government shutdown.
“The three-day program in Mumbai would center around the screenings to the general public of seven to ten American films that outline the legal and social aspects of the struggle for gay rights in the United States or that illustrate how the perceptions of gay people by Hollywood and the general public have changed over time, in particular how gay characters are portrayed in film,” the grant announcement states.
The U.S. consulate in Mumbai added that it “supports initiatives that promote diversity, tolerance, and gender inclusiveness, including for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.”
These policies are not new, of course. They go back to the Obama administration.
The Mumbai consulate has been at the forefront in pushing the radical gay agenda in India. In 2017, for instance, the consulate hosted a “gay-themed play” called “Ek Madhav Baug.”
Such a wonderful example we set in India.
So, the federal government can’t find the money to keep the government open, or make sure that invading armies of illegal aliens can’t get into the country, but they sure have all kind of cash to give to gays in India.
