Disaster Around the Bend: CNN to Host Health-Care Debate

CNN, famously nicknamed Fraud News Network (FNN) by our dear President Donald Trump, has decided to host a healthcare debate. The only thing I could hear when I originally read that was the squealing of tires and screeching of metal as the disaster around the bend looms….

CNN hosting a debate where senator will “face off” on the repeal of ObamaCare (more like ObamaDon’tCare) sounds like a horrible idea if I have ever heard one. Why? It will likely be extremely bias, and the democrats will likely be handed the questions beforehand.

Get it? Because Hillary was given the questions before her debate with Donald Trump during the 2016….ah never mind.

The network announced that Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), opponents of the bill, will debate its co-sponsors, Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).

The prime-time event will be moderated by CNN anchor Jake Tapper and the network’s chief political correspondent Dana Bash live from Washington, D.C.

CNN announced, “With a critical deadline looming, Graham and Cassidy, architechs of the Republicans latest healthcare proposal, will debate Sanders and Klobuchar on the merits of the plan that would repeal and replace Obamacare.”

The debate will come just days before a possible vote on the bill in the Senate, which would have to occur next week for Republicans to use special budgetary rules to avoid a Democratic filibuster.

Republican lawmakers are optimistic they can get the necessary votes to pass the bill before a Sept. 30 deadline.
