“When he originally agreed to testify in front of the Senate Intel Committee in 2017, there was an agreement between Don and the Committee that he would only have to come in and testify a single time as long as he was willing to stay for as long as they’d like, which Don did,” the statement from the source read.

“Don continues to cooperate by producing documents and is willing to answer written questions, but no lawyer would ever agree to allow their client to participate in what is an obvious PR stunt from a so-called ‘Republican’ Senator too cowardly to stand up to his boss Mark Warner and the rest of the resistance Democrats on the committee,” the statement concluded.

Trump, Jr., has already said publicly that he has no useful information about the trump Tower meeting with Russian agents.

But the Senate’s Republican leader also chimed in about the whole Russia collusion delusion and said on Wednesday that the whole case was closed.

According to USA Today:

“Case closed,” McConnell, R-Ky., said on the Senate floor about Mueller’s key finding that nobody from President Donald Trump’s campaign conspired with Russians to influence the election.

McConnell compared Democratic complaints over the need to continue the 22-month investigation to the movie “Groundhog Day,” where the protagonist relives the same day over and over. He also called efforts for continued investigation “unhinged partisanship” that would keep the country divided.

“This investigation went on for two years,” McConnell said. “It’s finally over.”

Sen. Rand Paul joked about the whole situation saying, “Apparently the Republican chair of the Senate Intel Committee didn’t get the memo from the Majority Leader that this case was closed.”

What do you think, folks? Should the Trump admin. and his operatives begin snubbing Congressional demands for even more “testimony”?
