Recently Clinton adviser James Carville slammed Bernie Sanders for pushing socialism in this 2020 election cycle and in reply, Sanders lashed out calling Carville a “political hack.”
Don’t you love it when the leftists eat their own?
On Monday, Carville took a slap at the “cult” of socialism besetting the Democrat Party.
“There’s a certain part of the Democratic Party that wants us to be a cult,” Carville said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. “I’m not interested in being in a cult.”
But on Wednesday, Sanders struck back calling Carville a “hack.”
“Look—James, with all due respect, is a political hack who said very terrible things when he was working for Clinton against Barack Obama,” Carville told Cooper after the host referenced Carville’s concerns. “I think he said some of the same things. Look, we are taking on the establishment. This is no secret to anybody.”

Sanders was likely unhappy that Carville endorsed someone else this year. Namely, Colorado loser Michael Bennet who recently just bailed on the race.
While we may appreciate that Carville seems to understand that the Democrat Party is going down a bad road with its new infatuation with socialism, he was not quite so prescient about Bennet.
Carville predicted Bennet would “surprise people” in New Hampshire, saying the senator was “uniquely suited” for the state, and that it was “historical fact that people like him do well there.”
I guess he didn’t much surprise anyone in New Hampshire where he made no showing at all and then dropped out.
For his part, Carville replied that he knows full well that he’s a “hack.” Indeed, he embraces that label:
