When there are 24 people vying for the same political position, things are bound to get wild…and maybe even a little bit desperate.
I’m speaking, of course, about the 2020 US Presidential election and the enormous field of candidates on the democratic side of things. Emboldened by the nonstop “resistance” rhetoric of the radical left, it appears as though everyone and their brother, (and sister and cousin and auntie), are taking a shot at the Oval Office.
Donald Trump, due to his fervent support base and anti-establishment leanings, has been seen by the democrats as somewhat of an easy target. This is merely an illusion, however, as the anti-Trump faction is simply blowing enough hot air to convince the democrats that the wind is at their backs.
Trump will be a 2020 juggernaut, make no mistake about it, and that is likely due to his unwillingness to participate in pedantic political stunts.
Democratic candidate Eric Swalwell has now proven that he does not possess such restraint.
In the video, Swalwell is seen changing the diaper of a baby girl, apparently his daughter Kathryn.
“If Eric can clean s#*% up at home… he can clean it up in Washington,” text displayed over the top of the video reads.
And yes; the clip is just as strange as it sounds.
Will you donate $1 now to get me to the debate stage? I'm ready to clean s#*% up!

This isn’t the first time that a democratic 2020 hopeful has turned to domestic diatribes to appeal to voters.
Earlier in the election cycle, Liz Warren used social media to broadcast a supposedly “casual” video of herself in her home kitchen, swigging from a bottle beer, in order to exude the appearance of an “everyman” sort of candidate.
The video, however, was professionally lit and Warren’s continuous attention to the rotation of her beer bottle’s label to be not-camera-facing belied the Hollywood-like production.
Swalwell will certainly be the butt of several jokes as the late night talk show writers get to work on their poop-puns.Don't forget to Like Godfather Politics on Facebook and Twitter, and visit our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
