In Britain, left-wing terrorists are now throwing milkshakes on people they don’t like. But even leftist comedian Ricky Gervais thinks these creeps deserve to “get a smack in the mouth.”
The comedian, who has called himself a socialist, jumped to his Twitter account this week to denounce the leftist terrorists in Britain.
“I voted remain. I would still like to stay in Europe,” Gervais wrote on his Twitter account. “I will argue with people who disagree me, always respecting their right to do so.”
“What I won’t do is throw things at them,” he added. “That would mean I had run out of good arguments. It would also mean I deserve a smack in the mouth.”

Gervais is probably one of the more evenhanded liberals in Hollywood. He is a huge pro-free speech supporter and even came to the support of a man who created a highly popular Twitter account that satirizes liberals.
Last week, Gervais applauded Spiked columnist Andrew Doyle, the creator of “woke” liberal-mocking satirical Twitter account Titania McGrath, for an interview wherein Doyle expressed his support for free speech and discussed the glaring lack of comedians refusing to speak up.
“Brilliant interview. Clear, intelligent, sincere. Good job,” Gervais told Doyle.

The actor and comedian best known in Britain for starring in the British version of The Office, has also excoriated the PCism that is destroying comedy.
I'm an old fashioned liberal lefty, champagne socialist type of guy. A pro-equality, opportunity-for-all, welfare state snowflake. But, if I ever defend freedom of speech on here, I'm suddenly an alt right nazi. How did that happen? pic.twitter.com/9pYrTJlQHK
