Facebook, Instagram, Other Social Media Outlets Experience World-Wide Crash on Wednesday


Severel social media platforms collapsed on Wednesday when users of sites such as Facebook and Instagram were unable to upload or even view photos on the platforms.

The tracking service, downdetector.com, reported that eighty-five percent of the issues were photo related.

Down Detector noted that social media users are also having problems with Instagram and Whatsapp. It is still unclear as to what is causing the mass outage.

Wednesday’s outage comes on the heels of a Coudflare outage on Tuesday that stymied Word Press users from updating websites all across the country.
