California Rep. Ted Lieu has made a cottage industry for himself with his constant flow of ignorant, anti-Trump tweets, but this week he was forced to delete a tweet when even his own supporters dissed him for an ill-timed attack.
The corrupt Lieu took to Twitter on Friday to attack Trump over his emergency declaration. But even Lieu’s fans thought the congressman seriously missed the mark with his broadside.
“WE ARE IN THE THIRD WEEK OF THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY!” Lieu tweeted in all-caps. “Can you feel the emergency?” he added sarcastically.
“Is this why @realDonaldTrump is going to Alabama, because we need to build a Wall along Alabama’s southern border? Oh wait, I just looked at the map… #FridayMorning thoughts,” the extreme leftist concluded.
Unfortunately for Lieu, just as he was typing that in from the safety and comfort if his congressional offices, President Trump was flying to Alabama to tour some of the areas devastated by Sunday’s tornados.
Lieu’s fans began slamming him for tweeting out a sarcastic attack ridiculing Trump over emergency situations just as he was touring a real emergency situation.
As the anti-Lieu tweets began to pile up, the congressman finally realized that he was getting buried even by his own folks.
Ultimately, the congressman apologized for the attack and deleted it.
“I have concluded based on Twitter comments I received that my last tweet was inappropriate,” he wrote.
I have concluded based on Twitter comments I received that my last tweet was inappropriate. I understand the purpose now of the President's visit to Alabama. I apologize and am going to delete my tweet.

Ooopsie. Looks like his Trump derangement syndrome got the better of him… as it always does.
