FBI Now Reviewing Circumstances Of Dismissal Of Criminal Charges Against Jussie Smollett

The FBI is now looking into the corruption in the Cook County prosecutor’s office that shockingly dropped the charges against Empire star Jussie Smollett in Chicago.

Chicago ABC News reporter Rob Elgas is reporting that the FBI has decided to look into the actions of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx and her office after Foxx let hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett off the hook so suddenly.

“Two law enforcement officials briefed on the matter tell @ABC the FBI is *reviewing* circumstances surrounding dismissal of criminal charges against Jussie Smollett,” Elgas tweeted on Wednesday. “ABC News is told this is not an investigation. It is a ‘review’ or ‘inquiry’.”

“As the @ABC7Chicago I-Team revealed this morning, records obtained from the Chicago police file on the Smollett case show the FBI was already involved in part of the investigation,” Elgas added. “In that report it was revealed that CPD forwarded a copy of a search warrant pertaining to Jussie Smollett’s Apple iCloud account to an FBI analyst.”

The curiosity by the FBI makes sense after the Kim Foxx team dropped all 16 felony charges despite the fact that the Chicago Police AND a grand jury saw plenty of evidence to convince them that Smollett faked the hate crime he claims was perpetrated against him.

The Chicago Police are furious over the actions of the State’s Attorney’s office.

For instance, Chicago’s Fraternal Order of Police “issued a second letter to the United States Attorney’s office in Chicago, calling for a federal investigation into Kim Foxx’s office, and suggesting that something strange is happening among Chicago’s prosecutors.”

“The conduct of her office from the very beginning of this cases was highly, highly suspicious,” the FOP wrote. “The entire country is outraged by it. The evidence is overwhelming that he was legitimately charged in this case. This decision appears to be utterly arbitrary, capricious and suspicious.”

Kim Foxx and her people claim that this sort of thing occurs all the time and they drop charges in exchange for “community service” routinely.

But it appears that this claim is not one that Foxx can readily prove. In fact, Foxx has sent an internal memo pleading for her underlings to look up cases that would prove her claim that they do this “all the time.”

So… she said she does it “all the time” but is now pleading for her underlings to show her evidence that they really do it all the time? In other words, Foxx made that “all the time” statement with no proof at all that she is telling the truth.
