A federal court has thrown out a lawsuit filed by a group of teens who were trying to sue President Donald Trump over global warming.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals threw out the “children’s climate lawsuit,” ruling that making policy about climate change is only in the purview of Congress and the office of the president, not the judiciary branch.
“The panel reluctantly concluded that the plaintiffs’ case must be made to the political branches or to the electorate at large. The political branches might conclude — however inappropriately in the plaintiffs’ view — that economic or defense considerations called for the continuation of the very programs challenged in this suit,” the judges wrote.

The suit was filed by 21 young people who sought a court order to require the government to implement an “enforceable national remedial plan” phasing out carbon emissions in an effort to stabilize the climate, Daily Caller reported.

The lawsuit has been kicking around since 2015 and the teens even appealed to the Supreme Court to allow the lawsuit to continue. The highest court decided to allow it to continue and instead of throwing the case out, the SCOTUS told the Trump administration to seek a judgment in the 9th Circuit first.
Now the 9th Circuit has spoken and likely to the liberal teens’ surprise, they said they have no standing to file the suit and threw it out. Now the suit is a dead letter.
Ultimately, this ruling is important for another reason. In days past, the 9th Circuit Court was a 100 percent reliable place for the left to win their way. But since Trump began adding his justices to the bench there, the court has begun leaning more to the right and away from the super extreme left.
If Trump was not president, we would not have this victory. Because you can bet that NO other Republican president would have the spine to remake the judiciary like he has.Facebook and Twitter, and visit our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
