Here’s the lesson for the day: Liberals are not tolerant. Liberals use the idea of tolerance to force the ideological door open, but once inside, they immediately shut it behind them. They have used this tactic since Satan said, “Has God said?” (Gen. 3:1).
Conservatives are brow beaten when they take a moral stand on an issue. Liberals begin by arguing that conservatives should be “tolerant” even if they disagree with a particular belief or behavior. Not wanting to be thought of as unloving, they agree to be tolerant but not accepting. This is the wedge that liberals look for. Once tolerance is granted, there is no stopping the aggression until conservative views are shut out all together.
The latest example of liberal tolerance comes from a group of former child actors who have attacked Kirk Cameron in a mocking and disgusting video. Cameron starred in Growing Pains from 1985 to 1992. He also appeared in other television shows and films. His latest venture is Monumental which has been appearing in theaters since March 22.
During the promotion phase of Monumental, Cameron appeared on a number of interview shows. One of them was with Piers Morgan. Instead of talking about Monumental, Morgan asked Cameron about his views on homosexuality. Here was Kirk’s answer:
“Marriage is defined by God in the garden between Adam and Eve, one man, one woman for life, til-death-do-you-part.”
Immediately the leftists in Hollywood pounced on his comments. Roseanne Barr had this to say: Kirk Cameron “is an accomplice to murder with his hate speech.” Here’s what Kirk said in response to the comments made by “tolerant” Hollywood liberals:
“I should be able to express moral views on social issues, especially those that have been the underpinning of Western civilization for 2,000 years — without being slandered, accused of hate speech, and told from those who preach ‘tolerance’ that I need to either bend my beliefs to their moral standards or be silent when I’m in the public square.”
These out-of-work former child actors have said nothing or offered no support to fellow child actors who had drug problems and eventually died from substance abuse: Dana Plato, River Phoenix, Brad Renfro, Brigette Andersen, Anissa Jones, Corey Haim, and Andrew Koenig who was found dead with self-inflicted wounds. This says nothing about other child actors who have messed up their lives with drugs.
Kirk Cameron gives his opinion on homosexuality, and the liberal brigade of Hollywood sexual thuggery goes into action. It’s too bad they haven’t put the same kind of effort into exposing the child sex epidemic that’s rampant in Hollywood. The following is from The Daily Mail:
“A wave of child abuse allegations in Hollywood have emerged within the past month [November 2011] – including that of a Julliard-trained ‘Sesame Street’ composer who allegedly produced and distributed porn, and a Hollywood manager who was charged with abusing a former client.
“Which begs the question – is there a heinous epidemic of child abuse in Hollywood?
“Recent childhood abuse allegations have brought to the forefront atrocious reports from former child actors who said paedophilia has been a common practice in Hollywood.”
Here’s what former child star Corey Feldman told ABC’s Nightline: “I can tell you that the number one problem in Hollywood was and always will be paedophilia. That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry. . . . It’s the biggest secret.”
“Little House on the Prairie star Alison Arngrim agreed. ‘This has been going on for a very long time,’ she told Fox News. ‘It was the gossip back in the 80s. People said, “Oh yeah, the Coreys [Corey Feldman and Corey Haim], everyone’s had them.” People talked about it like it was no big deal.’” By “had,” she means “had sex with them.”
A majority of people in Hollywood believe that Kirk Cameron’s opinion on homosexuality is far worse than the abuse that child actors have suffered from homosexuals who consider children as easy prey.
One last thing. I would like to see how the post-acting days of these childish malcontents compare with what Kirk Cameron has done with his life. Kirk and his wife, Chelsea, whom he met on the set of Growing Pains, have six children, four of whom were adopted and at least three are of mixed race. The Camerons founded The Firefly Foundation which runs Camp Firefly, a summer camp that gives terminally ill children and their families a week’s free vacation.Don't forget to Like Godfather Politics on Facebook and Twitter, and visit our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
