Former US Ambassador To UN Says Obama Weakest President Since Buchanan Watched US Dissolve Into Civil War

John Bolton was a Washington DC lawyer from 1974 to the late 1980s.  During those years and later on, he has served in the following governmental capacities:

  • 1981-1982: General Counsel for the US Agency for International Development (USAID)
  • 1982-1983: Assistant Administrator for Program and Policy Coordination, USAID.
  • 1985-1989: Assistant Attorney General, Department of Justice
  • 1989-1993: Assistant Secretary for International Organization Affairs, Department of State.
  • 2005-2006: US Ambassador to the United Nations.

Bolton is well versed in international affairs and based upon his experience; he says that President Obama is the weakest president since James Buchanan, who sat back and watched the United States dissolve into the Civil War.

He says that Obama’s way of handling the situation in Syria is only sending out signals to our enemies in the Middle East that he is weak and indecisive.  Obama first stated that he was going to use military force without the consent of Congress.  Then he waffles and says he’ll wait for Congress to reconvene on Sept 9 before asking them for approval.  In the meantime, Secretary of State John Kerry has stated twice that Obama is ready to use military force with or without the approval of Congress.

One of the main problems with liberal parenting these days is inconsistent discipline.  How many times have you heard a parent threaten their child with a certain punishment if they ever did something again, only to see the child do it over and over again without the parent following through with their threat?  It doesn’t take long for the child to learn this pattern of empty and inconsistent threats and they end up not taking the parent seriously whenever they threaten punishment in the future.  In the child’s eyes, the parent is laughable and disrespected.

Obama has been the laughing stock in the Middle East from the very beginning.  When he became president, he softened the tone of the US response to Iran’s nuclear threat and tried diplomacy.  The diplomacy has obviously not worked and they just laugh and taunt us, knowing that Obama is too inept to know what to do.  Consequently, few, if any of the Middle East leaders (and many world leaders) have any respect for him.

Obama has also tried to get in bed with various Muslim governments and factions in the Middle East such as the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Palestinian Authority and rebels factions in Libya and Syria.  Yet, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Palestinian Authority and the rebel factions still hate us and consider us to be their enemies.  Even the Egyptian people are wondering why Obama would side with the fascist government of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.

As John Bolton says, Obama is a very weak leader who garners little respect from other countries and their leaders.  That could be due to the fact that Obama had ZERO experience in international affairs when he became president.  He went from being a state senator to US senator to President in less than 4 years.  Obama was completely inexperienced and clueless when he entered the Oval Office and has done nothing but prove it ever since.

The man is an embarrassment to the United States and has no business being president of anything.
