GA Man Arrested for Slapping Woman with Pool Noodle

Of all the things to be arrested for in this land of freedom, imagine being arrested for slapping someone with a pool noodle.

A POOL NOODLE! They are made of foam! You probably wouldn’t even leave a red mark! In fact, you could probably beat an egg with a pool noodle and it still wouldn’t break!

However, a 66-year-old man from Rome, Georgia was arrested for hitting a 29 year-old female family member with a noodle.

As if that was not bad enough, there is icing to go on the cake! He has also been charged with battery and “cruelty to children” because there was apparently a child in their presence when this happened.

I wish I was making this up.

The local news site reports:

Mclin Hardin Wilson, 66 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly slapped a 29 year-old family member with a pool noodle in the face while in the presence of a juvenile.

Reports added that the incident occurred at a home on Albert Avenue.

Wilson is charged with battery and cruelty to children.

There are no other details currently given on the situation. I just want to know….were they in the pool or did the elderly man turn into a ninja warrior and the only thing he could swing was a pool noodle? Asking for a friend.
