Newt Gingrich is on fire! And I mean that in the best way possible. The former House Speaker has expressed his frustration with “millionaires who say they are underprivileged” as they give a huge middle finger to our flag and to our veterans.
He said, “I don’t tune in to [sports] to worry about politics.” I couldn’t agree more! We go to sports to get out minds off of politics, not dive even further into the headache!
“I find it very offensive,” continued Gingrich, before adding that he feels like the players who take a knee during the anthem are on a slippery slope. Before too long, it could lead to the anthem not even being played at the game anymore.
He said, “They’re not exactly oppressed,” and he is completely right. When has Colin Kaepernick ever had a real moment of oppression? The worst part of his day is wondering which car to drive.
He said that it is their right to take “all their after-tax income and give it to some left-wing nutcase group,” but that the anthem is sacred.
“Don’t impose on me your sense of somehow, you feel oppressed,” Gingrich said. “If you’re a multimillionaire who feels oppressed, you need a therapist [and] not a publicity stunt.”
Bottom line is that NFL players are not oppressed. They are privileged, whining babies who think they are standing up for some great injustice. In reality, they just catapulted themselves to the top of the SJW ladder.
Give those boys a therapist, not extra camera time!
