GOP Senator: ‘Trump Shown Troops More Respect in 9 Months Than Obama Ever Has’

Shot have been fired!

Republican Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina said he believes that President Donald Trump has shown more respect for our military in his first nine months in office that Barack Obama did in eight years.

Wow. I say wow because it’s true. When it boils down to it, President Trump has more patriotism and respect for our U.S. troops in his pinky finger than Obama has in his entire being. I say that with the upmost confidence.

The senator said that President Trump “has shown more respect for our troops in the first nine months then the prior president did in his eight years of office,” following the whirlwind surrounding Trump’s remarks about reaching out to fallen soldier’s families.

Tillis continued, “The president shows a lot of respect for our troops, up to and including the practice that we’ve seen in certain professional teams to not respect the image of the flag that these men and women are fighting and dying for — so I think he’s done a good job.”

The proof is in the pudding when it comes to Obama. For example, watch as he gets off the plane below, and walks right past the saluting marines. He was the Commander in Chief for goodness sakes! He couldn’t be bothered to salute the men?
