For a short time, the Hallmark Channel was listening to its actual viewers by eschewing LGBTQ content, but after radical gay activists went on the attack, the company did an about face and opened its arms wide to the far left.
For weeks the channel that has become famous for its traditional love story movies was under pressure from its actual viewers who became alarmed when the network’s CEO Bill Abbott said he was looking to begin adding gay moves to his broadcast lineup.
People who were actual viewers of the channel said that they did not want gay movies added to the channel and after saying he might be open to LGBTQ movies, Hallmark said that he would refuse to run an ad that featured a lesbian wedding kiss.
On Sunday, the Hallmark channel said it was rejecting an advertisement created by a wedding planning company called Zola because the ad featured a gay kiss. The rejection of the ad came on the heels of a campaign by a conservative group called One Million Moms, a group that advocates for traditional Christian beliefs in the media.
But next, the radical gays and their supporters got into gear. Left-wing, pro-gay advocates quickly launched a Twitter campaign with the hashtag “#BoycottHallmarkChannel.”
Naturally, Hallmark caved in despite that none of the new complainers are fans of the channel.
According to CBS News:
The Hallmark Channel on Sunday moved to reinstate ads featuring a same-sex couple that had been removed from the cable network. The decision came after considerable backlash over the initial decision to stop airing the ads from the wedding-planning company Zola.
“The Crown Media team has been agonizing over this decision as we’ve seen the hurt it has unintentionally caused,” Hallmark CEO Mike Perry said in a statement Sunday night. “Said simply, they believe this was the wrong decision.”…
So far, Zola has not said if they will stick with their ad buy on Hallmark.
But, even worse, Hallmark has now stuck its finger in the eyes of its own viewers by pledging to work with the radical gay advocacy group GLAAD.

So, once again, traditional people lose a place where they can go for entertainment without having to see things they don’t like or things that offend them.
The infuriating thing is, the radical, hate-filled gays and their pals have never watched ten minutes of the Hallmark Channel. And never will. So the network bowed to people that don’t even see their ads in the first place.
