Have you ever tried to unravel a spider’s web? With some spiders, the more you try to undo their web the more you find many of the spider’s secrets. However, the process is quite difficult and very sticky.
It looks like the same applies to Hillary Clinton.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Clinton violated protocol and possible federal law by using a private email account to conduct State Department business. After admitting that she had deleted thousands of alleged ‘personal’ emails, her advisors ended up providing 55,000 pages of other emails to investigators.
If one personal email account used for official State Department business is a problem worthy of investigation, then what about the discovery of a second personal email account also used for official State Department business?
After the discovery of the first personal email account – [email protected] – used for official State Department business, Clinton’s office insisted this was the only personal email she used for government business.
It was later learned that Clinton had a second personal email – [email protected] Her attorney sent a letter to Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) assuring him that it was ‘not an address that existed during Secretary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.’
However, it seems that the content and time stamps of some of the emails for this second account were in fact used to discuss official State Department business. Some of those emails were between Clinton and Sydney Blumenthal, one of her advisors. Discussions between the two involved arming Libyans who opposed and wanted to remove then dictator Moammar Khadafy.
In one email, Clinton wrote to Blumenthal saying:
“Fyi. The idea of using private security experts to arm the opposition should be considered.”
While officials are looking at the legality and ethics of Hillary Clinton’s use of personal email accounts to conduct official government business, I see this as further evidence that Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted to tell the truth about anything. She has a long track record of lying.
I still think the worse lies Hillary ever told were those she told to the parents of two of the victims of the Benghazi compound massacre. As their son’s bodies were being unloaded from an airplane here in the US, Hillary promised them she would keep in contact with them and let them know every detail about their sons’ deaths. Yet according to the parents, they never heard from Hillary ever again and they still don’t know the truth of what happened at the US Embassy compound. They feel betrayed by Clinton, Obama and then Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.
If Hillary Clinton can stand inches away from a grieving parent and lie to their face, then how can the American people trust her in anything? The continuing saga of her personal email accounts only supports her complete lack of honesty, credibility and ethics. To be honest, I wouldn’t trust Hillary to carry out my garbage, let alone serve as President of the United States.
