Hispanics Pushing for Stronger Enforcement of Immigration Laws

If you believed the manure being produced by the mainstream liberal media, you would think that every person of Hispanic ethnicity in America supports Barack Obama’s illegal immigration programs and wants to open the border for all to freely enter. However you may be surprised to learn that the liberal media is once again publishing false impressions and hiding the truth.

I doubt seriously if news agencies like CNN or MSNBC would tell you that Pedro Rivera of Texas stated:

“I’m an American citizen and I believe in the rule of law, and being Hispanic, I should not be granted special privilege in avoiding the law. We need officers to have all the tools available to them to keep us safe. That includes asking the question, when you’re being detained for a crime or being arrested for an offense, ‘Are you here illegally? Are you a U.S. citizen?’”

Rivera retired from the US military and is just one of a growing number of Hispanics in the Lone Star state that are pushing for the passage of SB 185. This bill would prevent cities from implementing ordinances that prevent local law enforcement from asking people they detain about their citizenship. Democrats have been fighting the bill as they don’t want police to be able to identify illegals for fear that future illegal voters will be deported out of the country.

Maria Espinoza, Director of The Remembrance Project also supports the senate bill that will allow police to do their jobs. According to their website:

“The Remembrance Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit, was created in 2009 to honor and remember Americans who have been killed by illegal aliens. The Remembrance Project educates, raises awareness, and conducts outreach in order to support and protect Americans and their families’ well-being and safety through upholding U.S. laws and following the Constitution.”

“We believe that America is exceptional. In our lives and in our country, America is the priority. As are Americans! Learn what you can do to stop the nonsense of ignoring laws and our US Constitution. Help stop public servants from placing other countries and non-citizens before our families. Join us to speak up for Latinos!”

Speaking about SB 185, Espinoza told the media:

“This is a new initiative.”

“We have more Latinos who are behind this issue and also law enforcement. We have (four) sheriffs who testified with us to remove sanctuary city policies.”

“We don’t think it’s a good idea for the state. We don’t think it’s a good idea for the city. If people are afraid to come forward (and report crimes as) victims of crimes or witnesses of crimes because of their legal status, we’re all going to be in trouble.”

The main argument being used by liberals to support efforts of preventing police from identifying illegals is that it leads to racial profiling. That is what Eric Holder used when he attacked Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and crippled the law enforcement powers of his department. Espinoza commented about the use of the racial profiling argument, saying:

“I have never been pulled over. My daughter has never been pulled over, and none of her friends have been pulled over because of profiling. We have to weigh the odds. We have families and we took families with us to the hearing whose loved ones were killed (by illegal immigrants). Their children were killed by people who should not have been in the country in the first place. There is no comparison in lives lost to someone being detained (for questioning) for five or ten minutes.”

In 1978, 909 people believed the lies they were being told by their leader. They didn’t bother to seek out the truth but blindly followed what they were told, just like millions of Americans are doing by listening to Obama and the mainstream media. Those 909 people, including over 200 children drank cyanide laced drink, often referred to the Kool-Aid and all of them died.

Drinking Obama and the mainstream media’s Kook-Aid is bound to end up the same way with the death of America and millions of Americans. One of the poisons they are using to destroy our nation and lives is allowing illegals to stay and vote illegally in future elections.

But you don’t have to believe what they are forcing upon you. Search for yourself. Check out The Remembrance Project and other sources and learn just how many Hispanics do believe in a sovereign America and stricter enforcement of our immigration laws. Get your state to pass a similar bill to SB 185 in Texas which will allow your local law enforcement to actually do their jobs in enforcing the law.
