The LGBT+ community and the Lesbian mayor of Houston got trounced in Tuesday’s election of a bill that would have allowed men who thought they were women to use women’s bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms. It was sold as an equal rights ordinance.
Refusal to follow the law would have meant fines of up to $5000.
We’ve seen by a government ruling that an Illinois high school is being forced to allow a boy who thinks he’s a girl to use the girls’ locker room.

Failure to follow this new government edict will mean the school will lose federal funding that was taken from tax payers to be used as educational blackmail. It’s the way all federal dollars are used. If a state or county does not comply with some federal law or judgment by a judge, federal dollars are withheld.
After the huge loss in Houston over the bathroom ordinance, the LGBT+ economic terrorists along with the lesbian mayor are threatening an economic boycott. It seems that Houston is up for the 2017 Super Bowl.
ABC News reports on the economic blackmail, although the news agency doesn’t call it that.
“I fear that this will have stained Houston’s reputation as a tolerant, welcoming, global city,” Houston Mayor Annise Parker said at an election night watch party in downtown Houston. “I absolutely fear that there will be a direct economic backlash as a result of this ordinance going into defeat and that’s sad for Houston.”
Mayor Parker doesn’t fear it; she and her homosexual compatriots want to make it happen.
“The Super Bowl is slated to come in 2017, and there are rumblings of plans to ask the NFL to move and go elsewhere in support of LGBT people and other groups HERO would have protected,” Houston attorney John LaRue, who ran for the Houston City Council and led a campaign to support HERO, said. “I also talked to some people last night, and we’re planning to create a voluntary system and group made of people who, while not obligated by City Hall, will still choose to enforce HERO’s protections in their businesses.”
I commented on a Facebook post after the huge win against same-sex tyranny in Houston that these cultural destroyers would not go away in defeat. They will double-down until they get their way. They will find other ways to intimidate.
The pastors and churches that stepped up to the political bar to take on Mayor Parker and her homosexual minions better not rest on their victory laurels for long. Get ready for round three:
“Though HERO lost at the ballot box, the fight is far from over, according to supporters and Parker, who is Houston’s first openly gay mayor.
“‘I guarantee that justice in Houston will prevail,’ she said. ‘This ordinance, you have not seen the last of. We’re united. We will prevail.’”
One battle does not win a war. Liberals have learned this lesson a long time ago. Conservatives are just beginning to learn it.
The NFL has weighed in on the issue with a statement:
“This will not affect our plans for Super Bowl LI in 2017. We will work closely with the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee to make sure all fans feel welcomed at our events. Our policies emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness, and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard.”
This could be a turning point. It’s all about the money, and the NFL knows, “don’t mess with Texas.”
Of course, this does not mean that the LBGT+ economic blackmailers will not quit.Don't forget to Like Godfather Politics on Facebook and Twitter, and visit our friends at RepublicanLegion.com.
