Hurricane Dorian Gearing Up for Destruction of Historic Proportions

Hurricane Dorian made landfall at Elbow Cay in The Bahamas at 12:40 pm EDT on Sunday with 185 mph winds, gusting to 220 mph, making the storm the strongest Atlantic region landfall in recorded history.

By Sunday, the storm was rated as a Category 5 and is expected to last for around thirty hours in the Bahamasn before it moves on toward the U.S.A.

The storm has already caused major damage in the area. Marsh Harbor Bahamas has already been totally destroyed, according to reports.

Dorian is expected to hit the U.S. around the West Palm Beach area and then spin north toward Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina.
