The former head of ICE appointed by Barack Obama and replaced by Trump is slamming the Democrats for opposing President Donald Trump’s border wall plans.
Thomas Homan, the former acting director of ICE, joined Fox News yesterday to warn the Democrats in general and Nancy Pelosi in particular to start loving the U.S.A. more than they hate Trump.
Homan also slammed the Democrats for “lying” to the American people and putting politics ahead of what is best for the American people.
Indeed, Homan said that the Border Patrol has detailed plans on where it wants solid walls and where it wants barriers they can see through, “in order to see what’s coming.”
“I would say Nancy Pelosi, you need to love your country a little more than you hate this president,” Homan told the Fox hosts.
“Your No. 1 responsibility is to protect Americans and secure our border. We have already shown how a wall or barrier can be effective. So, put politics aside. This is all politics.,
Homan added that the Democrats are playing politics.
“They don’t want this president to have a win on the border, but what they don’t understand is when the president wins on this issue, America wins,” Homan said.
“America is more secure, less drugs get across, less guns get across, less illegal immigration,” Homan added about the president’s construction plans.
“Walls work,” Homan insisted.
