Not only have ten U.S. border officials died due to COVID-19, but now we learn that illegal aliens with the virus are filling American hospitals throughout the southwestern part of the country.
Acting U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner Mark A. Morgan recently alerted us to a dangerous situation at the U.S. southern border. He also noted that 10 border agents have died “in the line of duty” due to the coronavirus.
At a Thursday press conference, Morgan said that while border crossings are down by about half compared to last year, that doesn’t mean the threat is over. He added that his agents have faced serious health risks when responding to these illegal immigrants where one coronavirus-infected illegal can infect hundreds of others before anyone can mitigate the situation.
“Migrants continue to ignore their countries’ stay-at-home guidance as well as they continue to ignore the guidance of global medical experts,” Morgan said. “We must secure our borders from illegal aliens who show their complete disregard of even the most basic application of health and safety.”

Many of these coronavirus-infected illegals are ending up with free care in American hospitals near the border.
“If anyone’s showing signs or symptoms, we’re going to provide them that appropriate test. We’ll take them to the local healthcare provider, and we’ve done that,” Morgan said.
Morgan added that he has been deploying Title 42 of the federal health code to expel illegals that come here. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, he has used the code to expel the illegals “within hours” after being swept up by border patrol officers.
“There is no doubt that Title 42 has prevented more tragic loss among our own workforce,” Morgan added.
