Radio talk show host, author, and Conservative commentator Laura Ingraham is clapping back at the nonsense brewing in the GOP. She said that Republicans would certainly lose the gubernatorial elections in certain states (like New Jersey and Virginia) because they can’t get over the politics of anger.
Ingraham said, “I think they’ve gone about as far as they can go with the politics of anger.”
Fox News Insider reports:
She explained that Republicans want to see a happier, calmer electorate for the 2018 midterms.
She noted that happy voters vote for the party that’s in power, while angry voters vote the party in power out.
She said that Trump has a lot of successes – such as the soaring economy – to show nine months into his presidency.
Ingraham said, “The president and GOP, however, they must work together and they’ve got to start racking up legislative victories to show voters – even those who usually don’t vote for Republicans – that conservative, populist policies are improving their lives.”
“That’s what happened a year ago,” she added, “The Republicans do not want to see tables reversed on them in 2018.”
