Iran Gets Appointed To U.N. Women’s Rights Committee

The UN announced that Iran will get a seat on the U.N. women’s rights committee which judges complaints alleging violations of women’s rights.

I checked the calendar, it’s not April 1 st yet. This type of insanity is why many people have lost complete faith in the United Nations. The UN requires some serious change or needs to be disbanded.

An announcement by the U.N. on Wednesday said that Iran and Nigeria, another country that is no stranger to human rights abuses, would be promoted to the international organization’s Committee on the Status of Women, which oversees abuses committed by oppressive states, such as Iran and Nigeria. More

Twitter users were quick to condemn the decision and deplore that the U.S. taxpayer dollars that are used to fund such committees.

Iran has now successfully enslaved every citizen for the last 20 years or so and this is the worst violator of Human Rights on the entire planet. You can’t actually make this stuff up anymore.
