IRS Scandal Now Includes FBI and Justice Dept.

From the very beginning of the IRS targeting scandal, I have been saying that the orders came directly from Barack Obama and that his minions would do everything possible to protect him. I pointed out that then IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman made far more visits to the White House than anyone else in Obama’s Cabinet and that the targeting began around the same time. Shulman made 157 visits to the White House while the next most frequent Cabinet member to visit was then Acting Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank with only 86 White House visits.

As the investigation into the IRS targeting and the pitbull efforts of Judicial Watch attorneys continue, we are learning more about the corruption, deceit and lying taking place within our government.

The Judicial Watch attorneys have uncovered evidence of a meeting that took place in October 2010 involving Obama’s scapegoat Lois Lerner and members of the Justice Department and FBI. The subject of the meeting was the targeting and possible criminal prosecution of non-profit organizations who may have been involved in political activities which is not allowed with their non-profit status.

Judicial Watch also discovered evidence that the IRS turned over confidential tax returns of 113,000 non-profit social welfare organizations to the FBI as part of their joint criminal investigation.

It has also been learned that once the scandal broke and Congress started their investigation, IRS employees were instructed to turn over their documents to the Department of Justice before giving them to Congress. sums up what all has happened with the IRS scandal, posting:

“This scandal has come quite a way since it was first confirmed nearly 800 days ago that IRS was targeting for added scrutiny conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status. Harassing conservative and Tea Party organizations and holding up their paperwork are one level of misconduct.”

“But planning to send people to prison because they have different political views seems criminal itself.”

“It’s unlikely anyone in this government will be convicted and sentenced for meeting to talk about charging interest groups with crimes. But there remains the fact that while Darrell Issa, R-Calif., chaired the House Oversight Committee, he sent a letter to IRS Commissioner John Koskinen telling him that Lerner might have violated federal tax law when she transmitted those tax returns to the Justice Department.’

“At the very least, we should see a proper investigation into this charge.”

“Meanwhile, as Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton says, these new documents ‘show that the Obama IRS scandal is also an Obama DOJ and FBI scandal.’”

“From what Fitton has seen, he believes ‘the FBI and Justice Department worked with Lois Lerner and the IRS to concoct some reason to put President Obama’s opponents’ in prison before his re-election.”

The deeper Judicial Watch and Congress dig, the deeper the conspiracy goes in our federal government to target, harass and even legally attack anyone who loved America and held a different political view than Barack Obama. The level of his lawless tyrannical abuse of power seems to know no bounds and I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of it before he leaves office, if he does leave.
