It seems the price of just about everything these days is up. Except for gas prices, I can’t think of another thing that is less expensive today than it was a few years ago.
Small wonder there are almost 93,000,000 unemployed or underemployed people in the United States. But it’s not just here. People are hurting everywhere. Even in the Middle East where it’s near impossible for a young man to find work. And of course this leads to boredom and mischief and frankly not knowing where your next meal is going to come from.
For American youths there are afterschool programs, sports, and clubs kids can join to keep them busy. Yet for the male youth in the Gaza Strip, there are no extracurricular activities.
Not that we ever did, but we don’t have to worry about the youths of Gaza anymore, for Hamas has a solution to not only fight the boredom, but also for the children to learn a skill — at camp.
A UK Independent/Washington Post article chronicles such camps for kids and young adults.
“More than 17,000 fresh-faced teenagers and young men, aged 15 to 21, mustered at a dozen camps over the past week in the Gaza Strip to climb ropes, practice close-order drills and fire Kalashnikov rifles, all of them pledging to defend the coastal enclave and ready to fight the next war against their Zionist enemies. They also learned first aid and how to throw a grenade. They watched — but did not touch — as instructors demonstrated the basics of improvised explosive devices [IED]. For the first time, the Hamas military wing, the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, hosted the Gaza recruits for a week of training in the martial arts at previously off-limits Qassam bases,” writes the UKI/WP.
Wow! Sounds like fun for ages 15 to 21.
The “camp counselors” are actually Qassam commanders dressed in full camo. In other words — high-level terrorists.
Now most campers, when in formation, yell out “Sir, Yes Sir” to their camp drill sergeants, but these commanders switched things up a bit. Can you guess what the young skulls full of mush shouted upon hearing a command? Yes…you are correct. They shouted “Allahu Akbar.”
Now, I’ve seen photos of these kiddie jihad camps. The kids are dressed in camouflage for training or parading in formation down a street in expensive full tactical gear, from boots to helmet — each carrying an AK-47 or some more sophisticated weaponry.
I’ve seen drills run with hundreds of kids at a time, each with Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launchers.
Is it any wonder that the people of the Gaza Strip are so destitute? Such is the high cost of terrorism.
All the money they have goes to funding terrorism. Where do you think the millions of dollars of humanitarian aid from idiot Western countries go? It’s funneled to Hamas to purchase weapons, gear, and battle fatigues. Just one AK-47 costs from $250 to $500. A Tac vest — $100 to $200, and RPGs, just the launcher, can range from $1000 to $2000. Grenades are at least $100 each, and so on. It could be thousands just to outfit one camper.
The article writes that Hamas is running the camps “to give Gaza’s frustrated and unemployed youths a way to blow off steam and shoot some guns.”
A Qassam officer said, “We have more than enough recruits. Too many. The camps are designed to answer the demands of the youth — to do something.”
A 15-year-old “camper” said, “I joined the camp because I want to know how to confront the Jews when they invade our land. We have to learn how to use the gun. I want to retaliate for my friends and neighbors who were killed by Jews.”
Well, kid, here’s a suggestion. Why don’t you and the rest of the “campers” join with the terrorists and simply lay down your arms. Pack them up, sell them, and go buy yourself a meal or maybe even get a job rebuilding your war-torn village. Heck, you could probably get some country like America to pay you 2 to 3 times what the weapons are worth as a buyback, just by promising to give up terrorism. You could make a fortune.
And I can unconditionally guarantee that “the Jews” will not attack you. Stop attacking the Jews and you will have nothing to defend, no weapons to buy, and no training to complete.
The reason you’re so poor, hungry, and jobless is the high price of keeping the terrorists in business — period!
