Israeli Prime Minister Praises Trump for Doing a ‘Great Service for Peace’

Count Benjamin Netanyahu among the world leaders who recognize the work being done by President Trump on the international stage. In a recent interview, the Prime Minister took the time to roundly praise President Trump for the work that he’s done and crediting him for making the possibility of peace more likely.

Sitting for an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Netanyahu said:

“He did a great service for peace because peace can only be based on truth, on reality. And denying the simple fact that Israel’s capital is Jerusalem is — pushes peace backward by creating an illusion, a fantasy. You can’t build peace on fantasy.
