Joe Biden Says He’d ‘Appoint First Black Woman to Senate’… One BIG Problem

Joe Biden once again made himself look like a fool with his flapping gums, this time saying if he becomes president, he’d be the first to “appoint a black woman to the Senate.”

Well, it’s a nice sentiment, granted, but there is one huge problem with slow Joe’s premise. The U.S. Senate has already had its first black female member.

That is not the only thing that made Joe look stupid, but let’s explain his first problem, first.

The United States Senate has already had a black woman counted among it members. And this idiot Biden even served with her.

Her name was Carol Mosley Braun and she was elected to the senate in 1992 and served until 1999. She was the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from the State of Illinois and the first woman to defeat an incumbent senator in the Land of Lincoln’s history.

Other than this momentous U.S. Senate first, Braun had an undistinguished career in the upper chamber — and has done about nothing since she left it — but she did end her tenure under a cloud of corruption and financial improprieties. She was a Democrat from Illinois, after all. Corruption is de rigueur.

She was usually called “Carol Mostly Fraud” in Illinois. For a reason.

Still, despite that she was useless and corrupt, she WAS the first black woman in the U.S. Senate. And she served alongside that dope from Delaware.

So, how could Biden think he’d put the first black woman in the Senate when that has already happened?

Oh, and since when does ANY president “appoint” any senator?

Senators are elected by the people, not appointed by any president. And even when a senator is appointed when a sitting senator leaves office early for whatever reason, it is done by a state governor or special election process, not a president.

Presidents have nothing at all to do with putting people into the U.S. Senate. Joey, you served in the U.S. Senate yourself for like 75 years, didn’t you? Are you telling us you still don’t know how the Senate works?

Joe Biden is a senile fool.

Why does the media let him get away with this stuff?
