Democrat U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, who launched her campaign for president in 2020, just called for the elimination of all private healthcare. This is a preview of how the Democrats are going to careen in a radical, far, far left direction for 2020.
Harris is the first big name to announce that she is running for the Democrat nomination for president and she is already the darling of the media. She is not a smart woman, of course, but her first big policy idea shows just how radical the Democrats are going to be for 2020.
Harris made her proclamation in response to a question she received during a CNN town hall.

“What is your solution to ensure that people have access to quality health care at an affordable price, and does that solution involve cutting insurance companies as we know them out of the equation?” an audience member asked.
“I believe the solution — and I actually feel very strongly about this — is that we need to have Medicare for all,” Harris responded. “That’s just the bottom line.”
Harris went on to say that not having free healthcare is “inhumane.”
Democrat booster Jake Tapper was a bit taken aback and noted that her plan would “totally eliminate private insurance,” and added, “So for people out there who like their insurance, they don’t get to keep it?”
Harris was undaunted and surged ahead accepting Tapper’s premise.
“Let’s eliminate all of that,” Harris said insisting that it is time to “move on” from the current healthcare system.
“Well, listen, the idea is that everyone gets access to medical care, and you don’t have to go through the process of going through an insurance company, having them give you approval, going through the paperwork, all of the delay that may require,” the radical let-winger said. “Who of us has not had that situation where you’ve got to wait for approval, and the doctor says, well, I don’t know if your insurance company is going to cover this. Let’s eliminate all of that. Let’s move on.”
According to Bloomberg, Harris’ plan would cost the country $32.6 trillion! That seems to be more money than the country even has!
