Laura Bush takes an Unfair Swipe at President Trump

You knew that with Pres. Trump’s political and economic successes that anti-Trumpers, Democrats, and weak Republicans would go on the attack over separating children from their real parents and fake parents who are charged with entering the US illegally.

Such separations take place when parents are arrested. Their children don’t go to jail with them. Thousands of the children who are trying to enter the US illegally are unaccompanied. Their parents self-separated from them hoping that through chain migration that they will become American citizens.

The separation policy is not unique to the Trump administration. it goes back to Clinton. Around 24,000 children were separated from their parents under Obama, and the Democrats never said a word and the Obama-worshipping media ignored the issue.

These separations are not meant to be permanent. Contrary to how the media and never-Trumpers are portraying the situation, it’s nothing like slavery, internment camps, or the Holocaust. If you want to read what’s really going on, take a look at this article. Many of the images that are circulating on the internet were taken during Obama’s administration.

In addition to the current political established, former First Lady Laura Bush has entered the fray with a blistering attack on the separation policy. You can read it here.

Here are some facts:

“Frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008 under her husband’s leadership, not under this administration,” Sarah Sanders said at the White House press briefing on Monday.

The law she was referring to was the Trafficking Victims Prevention Reauthorization Act signed by Bush in 2008, which Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen said was in need of reform.

“This law encourages families to put children in the hands of smugglers to bring them alone on this dangerous trek northward,” Nielsen said during the White House press briefing. “And make no mistake, we’ve talked about this before — this trek is dangerous and deadly.”

In 2014, President Barack Obama’s administration also blamed the Bush-era law for the sudden influx of unaccompanied minors at the border.

If Pres. Obama’s administration knew of the law and blamed Bush, why didn’t he and the Democrats fix it when they had the chance?

If Laura Bush is so concerned about children, why is she in support of children being physically separated from their mothers during an abortion? Where LB and the Democrats on the transgender issue where minor children are being lured into changing their sex with hormone treatments and some with surgery?

Here’s the big one. Where was Laura Bush when her husband invaded Iraq, started a war, destroyed the country’s infrastructure, and led to the depopulation of its Christian population?
