If you are a woman in Missouri who wants to kill your baby, you will have to take a trip to a nearby state because soon Missouri won’t have a single abortion clinic in operation.
Missouri’s health department said on Friday that it will not renew the license for the Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Louis.
Health department director Randall Williams said that the refusal for renewal is based on the 30 health code violations that were never corrected at the clinic, according to USA Today.
Indeed, Williams contended that the clinic has been extremely negligent citing one patient who went in for an abortion but found out several weeks later that the abortion “failed” and that she was still pregnant!
“We feel we have a duty to prevent future harm, to prevent future accidents or bad outcomes from happening again,” Williams said on Friday in his statement.
The Planned Parenthood clinic disputed the claim that the violations were not addressed.
“We’ve responded to every deficiency the state has cited, and we take safety very seriously,” said Jesse Lawder, spokesman for Planned Parenthood of St. Louis.
BREAKING: Today, Missouri’s health department weaponized a regulatory process to deny an abortion license to the last remaining health center in Missouri that provides abortion. The fate of abortion access now rests in a court’s hands. #BansOffMyBody #StoptheBans

The paper adds:
Williams’ announcement came after St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael Stelzer ordered the health department to make a decision on the St. Louis clinic’s license renewal by Friday.
Stelzer said a preliminary injunction he previously issued to keep the clinic operating would remain in place until he makes a final ruling.
“As a practical matter, the license denial has no immediate impact on patients at our center,” Lawder said.
If the injunction is finally ended and the state continues to refuse to allow the baby-killing mill to operate, Missouri will become the first stat in the nation not to have an abortion clinic.
However, there are several abortion clinics on the border in neighboring states.
