Mueller’s Witch Hunt has Wasted $25.2 Million Tax Dollars So Far

Special counsel Robert Mueller really does not have much to show for two years of “investigating,” but he does have a HUGE bill that he has forced you and me, the American taxpayer, to fund. So far, Mueller has wasted $25.2 million of our tax dollars on his fake, partisan, witch hunt.

Thus far, Mueller has indicted or convicted a few low-end Trump associates on matters that have nothing at all to do with Trump or the purported “Russia collusion” that he was supposed to have been investigating.

But BOY are we, the people, getting soaked for this fake investigation.

Mueller has released his latest statement of expenditures spanning April of 2018 to September showing that he has soaked us all for another $8.4 million.

According to the Washington Free Beacon:

The statement of expenditures reveals Mueller and his team of lawyers cost over $4.5 million for salaries and rent, and an additional $3.9 million in resources from the Department of Justice.

Personnel compensation and benefits cost taxpayers $2,886,270, including $1 million for special counsel office employees, and $1.9 million for Department of Justice employees who have been detailed to the investigation.

Between April and September, Mueller spent $580,098 on travel and transportation; $779 on “transportation of things”; $942,787 on rent and utilities; $15,618 on printing; $310,732 on contractual services; and $43,334 on supplies.

$43,334 on “supplies”?

That is more than most Americans make in a year!

The Free Beacon adds:

The investigation has now cost taxpayers $25,215,852.

Mueller and his team previously reported spending $6,759,695 from May 2017 to September 2017, and $9,982,624 from October 2017 through March 2018.

And to date this faux “investigation” has found not one, tiny shred of evidence that there was any “Russia collusion.”

What a complete waste of money.
