NC Gun Store Caves to Left, Pulls Down Billboard Criticizing Anti-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

A North Carolina gun store has caved in to liberal hectoring and has pulled down its billboard criticizing New York’s socialist representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her “squad.”

Murphy, North Carolina, gun store, Cherokee Guns, erected a billboard attacking AOC’s socialist group of Congresswomen known as “The Squad.”

The billboard features a header saying, “The 4 Horsemen Cometh,” with the last word exxed out and the words “are idiots” added. Under the header are photos of Reps. Ilhan Omar, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley. Then under the photos is the line, “Signed, the Deplorables.”

It wasn’t long before the store came under fire for erecting the billboard.

According to CNN:

The store’s owner, Doc Wacholz, said that he chose the women because of their “their message of turning this country into a socialist country,” he told CNN affiliate WTVC.

“I don’t care if it was four white women or four white guys that had their view — they’d be on the billboard,” the gun store owner insisted.

Naturally, “The Squad” went on the attack against the billboard:

Sadly, the gun shop has caved in to the pressure and is now tearing down the billboard.

“It broke our hearts that the controversy happened. Freedom of speech is a right. Unless it is something illegal or offensive, we use our best judgment and let it go. It is tragic what happened. He has been a great client of ours for a while, he just has his beliefs,” Coleman said.

“I wish it hadn’t happened,” Coleman said. “I didn’t want to hurt anybody. … I hope that we can heal from it and people can forgive.”

This is a shame. The way to “heal” the nation is to obliterate leftism. Pulling down this billboard does not help that goal.
