None of the networks bothered to cover the 100,000 pro-life supporters who came out for the March for Life. Instead they reported on the Jew-hating Women’s March.
Not one of the big three networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) spent any time during its news programs Friday covering the March for Life that was held on Friday, January 18.
Zero coverage despite that 100,000 pro-life supporters marched on Washington to support the 46th annual march.
“It seems an anti-Trump march happening tomorrow is more interesting to the networks,” LifeNews reported. “CBS gave a whole segment to the feminist, anti-Semitic ‘Women’s March’ scheduled for Saturday but didn’t even give a passing mention to the March for Life. ABC and NBC had plenty of time to give to fluff stories Friday morning, from Meghan Markle’s fashion, to ‘nomophobia’ which is an addiction to one’s phone.”
LifeSite noted that the networks ignoring the pro-life movement is de rigueur for the nets.
“Even President Trump called out ABC in 2017 for habitually ignoring the annual protest, leaving reporter David Muir speechless,” LifeNews noted.
In 2018, MRC Culture did a five-year study showing just how little time the networks had given to the march, giving three times more coverage in just one year to the Women’s March. They gave a whopping 13x more coverage to Parkland’s “March for our Lives” which was backed by several radical gun control groups, even as the two marches both claimed to seek the same goal, saving lives.
Others have also seen how the nets ignore the pro-life march.
Via the Daily Wire, Alexandra DeSanctis of National Review has also commented on how the nets ignore the real news.
“March for Life attendance is consistently downplayed,” she said. “Obviously, reports on attendance always come with possible bias and error. But mainstream media have reported “tens of thousands” at the March for Life when organizers report as many as 650K in recent years.”
She continued, “The fact that the March for Life happens every year makes it even more notable. Every single year for 45 years there has been a huge march protesting U.S. abortion law, despite making little headway in national policy over that time. That’s incredibly newsworthy.”
Yeah, the media wouldn’t want to cover the news, huh?
Not everyone ignored the March for Life, of course.
