What New Jersey officials expected is hard to say, but after opening their parks, they were furious to find an “inordinate amount of urine and feces being left behind.”
So, why did this happen? Because the idiots refused to open the park restrooms.
So, when thousands of New Jersey resident flocked to the re-opened parks for a nice day out… what, exactly, did the officials think they would do when nature literally called.
State Police Superintendent Pat Callahan spoke of the “disheartening” situation.
There is a “zero tolerance” policy for anyone who is caught in such a situation, Callahan said.
“The whole idea behind parks is to give citizens time to enjoy fresh air and have time outside,” he added.
“We understand restrooms are closed, but people should be planning accordingly and should not be urinating in bottles and leaving them behind,” Callahan added.
Then Gov. Phil Murphy had a warning. He said, “you’re not going to get a warning if we catch you.”
Then he threatened to close the parks again if the behavior continued.
Despite the lunacy of it all, Murphy ordered that the restrooms to remain closed.
