Of the three Democrats, only Sanders came anywhere near Trump’s numbers.

Bernie Sanders, for instance, had a 41 percent favorable view, while 18 percent said they had a “very favorable view” of him, and 23 percent said “somewhat favorable.”

Next came Joe Biden with 40 percent saying they had a favorable reaction to him. Meanwhile, only 17 percent of the poll’s respondents had a “very favorable” reaction and 23 percent a “somewhat favorable” reaction to Biden.

Warren slipped even lower with only 39 percent saying they had a favorable view of her. 20 percent said they had a “very favorable” view and 19 percent a “somewhat favorable” view.

Even supporters of the Democrats said they did not feel their candidate could beat Trump.

Only 32 percent of Biden’s supporters said he could beat Trump and 42 percent said he would probably lose. Warren saw even worse numbers with only 28 percent feeling she could win and 44 percent thinking she would lose. But in this case, Sanders was the biggest loser with a whopping 46 percent thinking he would lose to Trump.

Voters over 45 favored Trump to the Democrats (46 percent sided with Trump) and even more voters over 65 were with Trump (54 percent).

Younger voters were more left-leaning, but the thing is, younger voters don’t vote as often as those over 45.

In the end, this poll was very good for Trump’s re-election campaign.
