Anybody who says government schools aren’t about brainwashing isn’t paying attention. We already know that they are actively trying to brainwash kids about guns by suspending or otherwise punishing not just students, but also teachers who do things that might remind others of guns. If they can brainwash them young enough, then maybe when they’re older, they won’t want to have guns, and all the gun stores will go out of business, and finally we’d all have world peace, and it would have happened without direct circumvention of the 2nd Amendment.
Government education is all about brainwashing. In New York, as part of an anti-bullying workshop put on by a group of volunteer Bard College students, eighth-grade girls at Linden Avenue Middle School were told to ask for “lesbian kisses” from other girls. In another instance, two girls were told to come to the front of the class and pretend they were on a “lesbian date.”
The superintendent of the school district there in New York said that this workshop was aimed at “improving culture, relationships, communication and self-perceptions,” something he said is required under New York’s Dignity for All Students Act. This act “represents the state’s effort to create a safe and supportive environment, free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment and bullying,” according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
You see, this whole workshop was an anti-bullying lesson. But that was only their cover so that they could instill in these kids’ minds that homosexuality and promiscuity are both perfectly normal. So, they were teaching kids about “sexual identity,” introducing them to terms like “pansexual” and “genderqueer.” I’m sure they also taught them that if you’re a white male, you’re more than likely an intolerant bigot.
They had something for boys too. They were advised on “how to spot a slut.” Thanks to their instruction, boys can now determine (as if they couldn’t before, I’m sure) whether a particular girl is a slut, based on what kinds of clothes she wears and how many boys she dates. The boys were also told to always keep a condom in their pockets.
Parents didn’t even know about any of this until their kids started coming home and talking about it and about how awkward they felt during these “learning exercises.” They said it only led to more bullying, because after the workshop, girls were teased by others and called lesbians.
But teachers explained that they weren’t teaching kids about anything inappropriate. They were exercises aimed at teaching kids about saying “no” to unwanted sexual advances, and the “lesbian kiss” exercise was just used as an example. It was all about respect and safety.
These are our tax dollars at work. This is the kind of garbage that we’re paying for. And people wonder why so many people homeschool these days.
